Heath Ledger’s three-year-old daughter will inherit the late movie star’s entire fortune, estimated to be around £10 million, after his parents gave up their claim to the estate.

Heath’s will, written before Matilda Rose was born in 2003, named his parents and three sisters as the sole beneficiaries. But the family members have  spoken out to confirm that they are happy to give everything to Heath’s daughter.

“There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda,” Heath’s father told the Sunday Telegraph. The child lives with her actress mother Michelle Williams, who was separated from Ledger when he died.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have married in a secret ceremony in Canada.

In order to avoid the paparazzi, the low-key pair chose a wilderness retreat outside Vancouver for the ceremony which was attended by only a few close friends and family.

The couple started dating in 2007 and announced their engagement in May after Scarlett showed off a three-carat diamond ring. Just last month she said in an interview:  “We’re just recently, very recently, engaged. So we’re just taking it easy and no big plan yet. I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.”

Scarlett was previously linked with actor Josh Hartnett, while Ryan split from Alanis Morissette in early 2007 after five years with the singer.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally left the mansion in the south of France where they have been staying since May. The entire Jolie-Pitt clan has moved to Berlin, where Brad is soon to start work on his next film, Inglorious Bastards, with Quentin Tarantino.

The superstar couple were recently forced to publicly deny they were separating, following reports that new mum Angelina didn’t appreciate Brad attending the Venice and Toronto film festivals while she was struggling to look after six children under six. “The stories are absolutely not true,” Jolie’s spokesperson told reporters.

Meanwhile, Ange’s ex-husband, actor Billy Bob Thorton, has revealed that the two are still very close and plan to star in a film together one day. “I have the utmost respect for Angelina. She's a very sweet person, very talented and one of my best friends in the world,” Billy Bob revealed. The pair were married in 2000, but split not long after the star adopted her first child, Maddox, now six.

Jade Goody is facing a year of chemotherapy after being told her cancer has spread, according to reports.

The 27-year-old underwent a hysterectomy earlier this month to remove cervical cancer, and initial reports stated Jade faced up to nine weeks of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

But The Sun today reports that the mother-of-two has been told the cancer has spread to the abdominal cavity, and doctors have given her a 50/50 chance of survival.

“This is not her worst nightmare – that would be dying and leaving her children. But it comes pretty close,” a source close to Jade told the newspaper. “She had hoped that she would not lose all her hair. But now she has been told that she will definitely lose it all because the chemo will be much stronger.”

Victoria Beckham has revealed details of her LA lifestyle in a new interview with The Sun, and jokes that, “I’m so content I’ve even been smiling a bit these days.”    

Following a rocky start in the States (“There was a time when I did get battered quite badly. I felt like I couldn’t do anything right, so I didn’t go anywhere”), Posh is now revelling in a world where her fashion line gets rave reviews at New York Fashion Week, Vogue editor Anna Wintour takes her calls, and her and Becks’ fragrance line has hit £109 million.

And, for the first time, she admits to working out to maintain her petite frame: “I run four miles, seven days a week. I feel energised and healthy — there are really nice gyms here and I just enjoy it. I need that self-discipline to get up in the morning, drop the kids off at school then go to the gym. I can think properly then go home and do some work. But I do feel so much better.”

Victoria also says she's got a good head for finance: “I was on the dole once and I remember what it’s like to watch how you spend your money. I know everything that goes in and out of our accounts. I’d like to think I’m a good businesswoman, I’m learning a lot along the way. David definitely spends much more money than I do."

Cheryl Cole has worn her wedding ring in public for the first time since January, when husband Ashley was accused of cheating.

Cheryl chose an appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to show off the diamond-encrusted Jacob & Co ring, and confirmed her marriage was back on track. “There’s no such thing as a private life in this industry,” she said. “I spoke openly about my marriage in the past and it's come back to hit me in the face. I learnt from the past that you shouldn’t do that... There's something about celebrities having a perfect life; people need to relax and realise we're human too.”

“Lies would really get to me at one point, it really hurt, but now I just think ‘whatever’.”

Cheryl also used the interview to dismiss reports of a feud with fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue: “We just didn't talk about it. It’s all water under the bridge. We're both grown women… There's more arguing going on between Simon and Louis.”

Blake Fielder Civil has reportedly turned down an offer to leave jail early, because it meant house arrest at his mother's place in the country!

According to reports, Blake could have walked free from prison tomorrow, if he agreed to wear an electronic tag and live at his mother Georgette's house in Nottinghamshire.

But Amy's other half is so keen to return to Camden that he's chosen to stay behind bars. "He doesn't want to go somewhere where he can't be reunited with Amy and his friends. He'd rather stay inside," a source told The Sun.

"It was all set for him to be released, but because he refused to go anywhere other than Camden, it was refused at the last minute."

Daisy Lowe has reportedly rekindled her relationship with her ex-boyfriend after splitting up with Mark Ronson last week.

The 19-year-old model attended a London Fashion Week party with ex Will Cameron last night, before heading back to his Baker Street flat. The pair have remained close since splitting in February.

Daisy began dating Mark Ronson in April despite a 14-year age gap, and quickly moved into the music producer’s Manhattan apartment. But friends say the age gap isn’t to blame for the split: "They're in different places at the moment and they both need some time and space to think about things. Mark's quite serious and just wants to meet the right girl and settle down," a source said.

Doctors carrying out a hysterectomy on Jade Goody have discovered that her cancer has spread further than initially thought.

The Daily Mirror reports that Goody's cancer has now reached "Stage Three"—when the cancer has spread beyond the womb—and that her odds of making a full recovery have dropped from 95 per cent, but still remain above 50 per cent.

The reality TV star now faces an intensive nine-week course of chemotherapy, and will remain in hospital for the next two weeks.

Jade Goody is undergoing a hysterectomy today to increase her chances of beating cancer. The mum-of-two was told she had cervical cancer during a recent stay in the Indian Big Brother house; thankfully, recent reports have revealed that the cancer has not spread.

Jade entered the Royal Marsden Hospital, a cancer centre in London, on Thursday with her mother at her side. Boyfriend Jade Tweed is in jail after being convicted of assaulting a teenager with a golf club.

Following the operation, the 27-year-old will undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy. A spokesperson for Jade said the star was nervous but looking forward to putting the operation behind her: “Obviously she’s feeling very anxious. She’s in the best possible hands and having the best possible treatment. We’re all staying positive and looking forward to her speedy recovery.”

After years of singledom, Dannii Minogue has found a new boyfriend. The lucky man is rugby player Kris Smith, who she met while holidaying in Ibiza over the summer.

And the X Factor judge is so smitten that she couldn’t resist talking about her new man in her Closer magazine column: “Rumours are flying about my new-found interest in the rugby league and the papers say I’m dating an ex Leeds player. Heather Mills is reportedly writing a novel about a model who marries a rock star... sound familiar? 

The ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney was banned from writing a tell-all book about life with the Beatle, as part of their divorce settlement, but that hasn’t stopped the charity campaigner from starting work on a novel.

According to reports, Heather is asking publishing houses for £1 million in order to complete the book, which she insists is a work of fiction.

A source close to Mills told the Daily Mail: “Heather has written the treatment for a novel about a model and campaigner who marries the most famous rock star in the world... It’s a rags-to-riches tale taking in her tough childhood, how she struggled to make it as a model and then how this famous rock star met her at an awards ceremony and how they fell in love.

The rock star’s first wife had passed away and his children can never get over that fact, so they gang up against the model, who they see as money-grabbing and an opportunist. The pair start rowing and the fights often end violently. The rock star is painted as a deeply flawed character whose mind has been warped by years of being treated like a god. He finds solace in drinking and smoking cannabis which gives him mood swings.”

Jade Goody has admitted taking crack cocaine. The reality TV star and cancer sufferer told The Sun that she smoked the drug in order to shock her mother out of her own addiction.

Jade recalls the day she walked into the lounge where her mother Jackiey was smoking crack and asked to join in. “One day I thought, I’m never going to beat drugs. They’re always going to win... I decided to show her how nasty and heartbreaking it was to see a member of your family – your own flesh and blood – killing themselves in front of your very eyes,” Jade explained. “I took some of her crack, made a joint and smoked it. I felt dirty and disgusting.”

But Jade’s stunt didn’t halt her mother’s drug taking and the pair continue to have a rocky relationship, more details of which can be found in Jade’s new autobiography, Jade: Catching a Falling Star. A documentary on her cancer battle, Living With Jade Goody, will air on Living in the autumn.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been told to keep her hands off a "good-looking" male contestant. Married Cole was reportedly smitten with 22-year-old singer Joseph Chukukere and called him "gorgeous", while also admitting to "flirting" with him after the auditions.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, 18-year-old girlfriend Frankie Hayes said that Chukukere was "spoken for" and that they "are in love and have been going out for a year."

Hayes didn't blame Cole for liking her beau, but warned the pop star to "keep her hands to herself."  Chukukere will be appearing on this weekend's show to sing a cover of "Ain't No Sunshine".

Lily Allen shocked the audience at the GQ Men of the Year Awards when she had a public spat with co-host Elton John live on stage.

Elton wasn’t impressed that Lily was drinking on stage throughout the ceremony. Then, when the tipsy singer announced that it was a very special part of the night, Elton quipped "What? Are you going to have another drink?"

Lily fired back: "I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!" and the pair continued to trade insults for several minutes. Watch the video below but beware, there is bad language!

Jade Goody has given her first interview since being diagnosed with cervical cancer. In the interview with GMTV host Fiona Phillips, Jade revealed that her cancer is more serious than first thought and that she will need to undergo a hysterectomy.

“The doctor said it had been there for quite a while... It’s gone out of the womb, into the blood stream,” the 27-year-old reality star explained.

Jade said she was feeling much stronger after breaking down in tears two weeks ago as she arrived back in the UK after a stint on the Indian version of Big Brother. She has just spent a week relaxing in the Lake District with sons Bobby and Freddie, and boyfriend Jack Tweed. “I’m still breaking down but I’m a lot stronger,” Jade said. “I’ve just spent the week away with my boys doing things I’d never do, like rock climbing. It makes me smile, it makes me forget.”

This morning brought some more bad news for the star – boyfriend Jack Tweed has just been sentenced to 18 months in jail after being found guilty of assaulting a 16-year-old boy with a golf club in December 2006.
