27 febbraio Jack’s curfew to be lifted for JadeIt looks like Jade Goody will have her husband by her side as her condition worsens, with reports stating that the Ministry of Justice plans to relax Jack Tweed’s curfew as his terminally ill wife edges closer to death. The Sun quotes a source at the department as saying that they plan to temporarily suspend Jack’s curfew so he can spend the evenings at Jade’s bedside. Under court orders, he must return to his mother’s house, a 20 minute drive from Jade’s Essex home, at 7pm each day. “There is no question of removing the tag indefinitely now and dropping the curfew conditions,” the source told The Sun. “But we are planning for the eventuality of Jade’s death. When we have medical evidence this is imminent the tag will be removed - but only for a very limited period.” Jack Straw stepped in to lift Jack’s curfew on their wedding night. The 21-year-old was released from jail in January after serving nearly five months of an 18-month sentence for assaulting a teenager with a golf club. Jade has paid tribute to fellow cancer suffered Wendy Richard, who died on February 26. "I met Wendy in hospital and she was brilliant to me. She told me to keep fighting and make the most of my life. She was a lovely lady."

Ghalib now faces three charges of assault with a deadly weapon (his car), hit-and-run and battery, all worth up to seven years in prison if convicted. Britney’s father Jamie Spears obtained new restraining orders against Adnan and her former manager Sam Lufti after they tried to re-establish contact with his daughter. In other baby news, Nicole Riche and Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden have announced that Nicole is expecting the couple’s second child. Nicole gave birth to daughter Harlow Winter in January 2008. Joseph star Lee Mead, 27, has also revealed to Closer magazine that he would “love to have children and hope we can start a family” with fiancee Denise Van Outen, seven years his senior. Jennifer presented confidently alongside Jack Black, and got a few laughs, before heading off to the exclusive after-party with boyfriend John. I love Jack with all my heart and I want to be his wife more than anything in the world. And I will be.” Jade’s boyfriend Jack Tweed proposed to the terminally ill star last Friday, and they will wed on Sunday February 22. The couple were pictured shopping for dresses at the Armani store on Sunday with Jack’s mother, where they picked out a suit for the groom and small replica versions for her sons Bobby and Freddie. As for Jade, she chose a £3,500 bridal gown from Harrods, which was then given to her by store owner Mohamed Fayed. A Harrods spokesperson said: “We can confirm the chairman has given Jade a complimentary wedding dress worth £3,500 after she came into the store at the weekend. His heart goes out to her and her family and he wanted to do something to help.”
Chris Brown apologises to RihannaChris Brown has released a statement apologising to Rihanna after allegedly attacking her in LA on February 8 after a pre-Grammys party. He was arrested and bailed; the investigation is ongoing. "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said in a statement. “I am seeking the counselling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person. "Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds," the statement concludes. A report in the New York Post had stated that that the 19-year-old singer had altered his Facebook status to ‘single’ and added the line 'You'll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!' Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, has also spoken out, telling People magazine his daughter has visible marks on her face. "There is some bruising. She will be all right... Although the victim wasn’t named, Rihanna and Chris both pulled out of their Grammy performances, scheduled for Sunday night. Chris later turned himself in to police and was released on £34,000 bail. Although they’ve never officially admitted they were a couple, Rihanna and Chris Brown are thought to have dated for over a year. Peaches Geldof splits from husbandPeaches Geldof has split from her American husband after just six months. Peaches, 19, married Max Drummey, 24, in Las Vegas in August after a one-month courtship. After a few months of speculation, during which time the couple weren’t seen in public together, they released a statement confirming they were divorcing: “After much soul-searching we have made a mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways. Our parting is amicable and both of us still respect and care about each other immensely. Jade Goody tries ‘miracle drug’
Following the devastating news that Jade Goody’s cancer has spread, the star is starting a two-month course of what she calls a “miracle drug” in a bid to save her life. Jade will immediately be given Hycamtin, a drug given to sufferers with advanced stages of cervical cancer. “It has given me a glimmer of hope,” she said. “I’m hoping and praying that there is a chance. It’s the first good news I’ve had in a dreadful few weeks. Over the last three or four days my view has been ‘How long have I got?’ Now I’m thinking, ‘Maybe there’s a chance’.” Since discovering the cancer had spread, doctors warned Jade they were now working towards prolonging her life rather than saving it, but here’s hoping the mum-of-two responds well to the new treatment.

David Beckham is currently on loan to AC Milan but is scheduled to return to LA Galaxy in March. But in a recent interview with Spanish newspaper Corriere della Sera, Becks hinted he’d like to stay in Italy where he has already made two goals and two assists for his new team. "The Americans are doing everything they can to improve the level and reputation of their game,” David said. “It's a young league, and I think it needs another 10 years to become successful. I have to admit that, having played in Europe, sometimes it was frustrating playing in certain games.” Could a triumphant return to Europe be on the cards for the Beckhams? UPDATE: AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani has confirmed that David Beckham's lawyers are in talks with LA Galaxy over an extended deal to keep Becks in Italy. We are looking to get him either on loan until the end of the season or on a permanent basis."

The announcement followed rumours that her tour might be in trouble, after the mother-of-two reportedly refused to go on the road without her children. Ex-husband Kevin Federline currently has primary custody of Jayden and Sean, but Britney has plenty of visitation and two overnight visits per week. A post on the star’s official blog reads: Britney is so excited to kick off her tour. She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again. Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour.” Let’s hope Britney reaches a similar agreement with Kevin for the European leg of her Circus tour – she’s due to perform eight dates at the O2 Arena in London in June.
