Kelly Brook has rekindled her romance with Billy Zane only weeks after ending their four-year relationship because he couldn’t commit.

Billy, 42, flew to London from South Africa earlier this week in an attempt to win Kelly back. The broken-hearted actor bought roses and chocolates for his ex and organised dinner at a fancy Thai restaurant in order to persuade Kelly to give their relationship another chance. It seemed to have worked as the pair were seen returning to his west London hotel suite just before midnight. “Kelly was giggling and looked very happy. She kept touching his arm,” an onlooker told The Sun.

Although the 28-year-old model has previously said she is keen to get married, there is still no sign of her £28,000 engagement ring.

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has hit out at his wife’s behaviour in letters written from his prison cell.

Close friend Sarah Thomas took a series of letters, all written by Blake while behind bars, to Grazia magazine. One letter says: “How much is my wife trying to do my head in!? Can’t help feeling I'm going to see a photo of her snogging some junkie soon! She needs to remember she’s married to someone in prison.”

Sarah explained Blake’s frustration and the tenuous state of the couple’s marriage: “It really upset him when she lets him down. She books visits and doesn’t turn up so no one else can go,” Sarah said. “He doesn’t want to go back to Amy because she’s doing drugs. People might see it as scandalous, but it has to happen for him to be OK. If Blake was released tomorrow, I think they’d go their separate ways.”

Sarah, who Blake has nicknamed ‘Baby Bear’, also told Grazia that Amy and Blake had planned to have children: “They’ve talked about having kids, and Amy is actually very maternal. She likes taking care of people, and does wifely things like making pillowcases out of tablecloths.

Blake is currently on remand in London's Pentonville prison. Amy has been linked to various men in recent months including her manager’s assistant, Alex Haynes, and Babyshambles guitarist, Mik Whitnall.

Jennifer Aniston seems happy to flaunt her new relationship. And we’re happy to see her so happy!

Jennifer and singer John Mayer got together in April, and they obviously see no reason to hide their romance – the happy couple cuddled and kissed in front of dozens of other hotel guests at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami last weekend. See more in our special video report. 

A witness said: “They were swimming and sitting out at the pool on Saturday for more than three hours. They looked like they were completely into each other. She put her arm around him while they were in the pool. It was intimate. They both looked so happy. They were in full view of everyone at the pool. They weren’t trying to hide it."

The couple then headed to the wrap party for Marley And Me, Jennifer’s next film, and were happy to be photographed holding hands and arriving and leaving together.

Kris Marshall has made his first public appearance since recovering from a head injury after being hit by a car last month.

The actor, currently seen in a series of BT ads, stepped out at the Sex and the City premiere in London. Doctors were amazed by the 35-year-old’s miraculous recovery after being hit by a car on a night out in Bristol – they’d originally feared a serious brain injury.

“I’m alright.  I’m nearly recovered – a bit sore still but I’m back at work,” Kris told reporters at the premiere. “I wouldn’t come to these things unless I’m in it but my girlfriend really wants to see it and she looked after me while I was in hospital.”

Nicole Kidman, 40 years old and pregnant, has been dumped as the face of Chanel No. 5 and replaced by a much younger woman.

The perfume giant has chosen French actress Audrey Tautou as the new face of the fragrance. The 29-year-old, best known for roles in Amelie and The Da Vinci Code, is expected to pocket $4.3 million for the deal.

Nicole has been the face of Chanel since 2004, when she reportedly earned $3.7 million for a three-minute advertisement directed by acclaimed Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann, breaking the record for the most money paid per minute to an actor.

She’s expecting her first biological child in July.

Amy Winehouse spent nine hours being questioned by police on Wednesday after officers were handed a video which allegedly showed her smoking crack cocaine. The Sun newspaper published pictures from the video, showing the star inhaling fumes from a pipe, earlier this year.

The singer was released on bail at 10.30pm last night, after voluntarily turning herself in at Limehouse police station in east London. A spokesperson for the Met said: “Around 1pm today a 24-year-old woman from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug. This is in connection with an investigation connected to footage passed to the Metropolitan Police on 22 January.”

Amy’s run-ins with the law are becoming more frequent – she recently spent the night in jail after slapping a man after a night out in Camden in March. She was cautioned for common assault.

Dad Mitch Winehouse has spoken out against his daughter’s behaviour. “I want her sectioned,” he said last week. “The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street. I don't think being somewhere for six weeks is going to cure her problems. I think it needs far more radical measures. We will take the bull by the horns and deal with it.”

Britney Spears was in court again on Tuesday to fight for visitation rights to see her sons, and this time she did everything right.

Britney turned up just before 8am with both her parents, a big change from previous hearings when she either turned up hours late or not at all. Throughout the hearing, the star was quiet and cooperative and won praise from the judge and ex-husband Kevin Federline’s legal team.

After spending all morning in court, both on the stand and in private talks with Kevin and his lawyers, Britney was awarded more supervised visits with her sons. Although it’s not clear exactly how much she will see Sean Preston and Jayden James, K-Fed’s lawyer said it was an “expansion of time”. “It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless,” he said. “We are seeing signs of her progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin. The children are doing great.”

They’re back in court on July 15, when Britney is hoping that their shared custody agreement will be reinstated.

Pete Doherty walked free from prison on Tuesday morning, after serving just 29 days of a 14-week sentence.

The Babyshambles singer was joking with reporters after leaving Wormwood Scrubs Prison in west London at around 7.10am. Dressed in a suit and tie, Pete said he was looking forward to having a rum and coke and spending time with his cats.

When asked if he’d taken drugs in jail, Pete showed a certificate confirming he’d passed a drugs test and said: “Well, I knew it was going to be a bit rough to start with, with the overcrowding and the medical facilities. Although they do their best, they are good, they can't really cater for the average junkie.”

Doherty was jailed in April for breaking probation, after receiving a four-month suspended jail sentence in October for possessing crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis, and driving while uninsured.

His early release means Babyshambles can play Glastonbury as planned.

Mariah Carey, 39, apparently got hitched to 27-year-old actor and rapper Nick Cannon on April 30.

The couple, who have been dating for just two months, are said to have had an impulsive ceremony at Mariah’s new home in the Bahamas and there was no pre-nup, despite Ms Carey being a multi-millionaire and one of the best-selling music artists in history.

Nick's family member Linda Cannon confirmed the couple were married: “Yes, we know,” she said. “He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.”

Kerry Katona always divides opinion and this month was no different. She gave birth to son Max, invited an MTV crew into the delivery room, and then announced in her magazine column that she’d lost two stone in just seven days:

“I just can’t believe how much Kerry has changed since her pop days – she seemed a sweet girl who had everything going for her but now everything just makes her look rough and cheap. She could do so well if she got her act together and sorted her life with her children first, then worried about the fame.”

Jennifer Aniston seems to have finally found love... with Jessica Simpson’s ex! Jennifer has been spotted out and about in Miami with singer John Mayer, who’s nine years younger than the Friends star. The pair were first spotted together last Friday, having lunch (and sharing a dessert) in a restaurant that opened just for them, before having a romantic dinner at Casa Tua on South Beach the same night.

Now photographs of the cute couple have emerged in In Touch Weekly, showing them sunbathing and getting close in the Florida sunshine, where Jennifer is filming Marley & Me.

Since dating Jessica Simpson in 2006, John’s been linked to string of starlets including Cameron Diaz and Mandy Moore. Let’s hope he doesn’t stray and Jennifer is lucky in love for once!

New mum Kerry Katona has revealed she has lost two stone in the last seven days.

The reality TV star told OK magazine that she is desperate to get back to a size eight following the birth of her son on April 12: “I’ve lost two stone in a week. A lot of it was water and I’ve just been eating Special K and no curry and chips. I feel great! I want to start exercising and be eight and a half stone again. The beef curry cravings have gone and I’m trying to focus on getting my figure and my confidence back.”

Kerry gave birth to baby Max in front of a camera crew from her MTV reality show and uses her column in OK to give news of his progress: “There have been constant reports about my wellbeing since giving birth, but I can safely say I’m doing really well,” she says. “Max is keeping me up with all the night feeds but at least he’s feeding, because with him being five weeks premature he needs to get a move on and grow!

“I’ve had that much slating from people talking about me drinking and smoking while pregnant, it’s almost as if they wanted me to give birth to a sick child, but I’m ignoring them all and I can safely say that my baby is happy and as fit as a fiddle.”

My Family star Kris Marshall has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car. The actor, currently appearing in BT Broadband ads, was out with friends on Saturday night when he was hit by a VW Polo outside a pub in Bristol city centre.

Although his condition is not life-threatening, the 34-year-old remains in intensive care, with his family at his bedside. A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: “There was a collision between a car and pedestrian shortly before 1am on Sunday. It happened in St Augustine's Parade in Bristol City Centre. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with head injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Police spoke to the driver of the car involved, which was a VW Polo. He stopped immediately after the collision and we are looking into how it happened. He was not a drink driver.”

UPDATE: A spokesperson for the star has confirmed the actor is making a steady recovery. "Kris Marshall was involved in an accident in Bristol on Saturday night and sustained a head injury. He's currently in a stable condition in hospital and is expected to be discharged within the next couple of days."

Lindsay Lohan has fallen off the wagon, after three stints in rehab in 2007. The party girl was seen downing vodka cocktails at Tropic Zone in New York on April 19, reports People magazine.

The trouble seems to be that best friend Samantha Ronson (Mark’s little sister) is a DJ, so wherever she goes, Li-Lo follows. At the hottest clubs, temptation is never far away and that was the case last Saturday night as Lindsay drank Grey Goose Vodka and Red Bull and partied until 4am.

Just last month Lindsay told Glamour magazine that she had ditched friends who were bad influences: “There are friends that have been hard to hang out with because they've gone done a different path. But it's hard because I'm the kind of person who wants to trust everyone... That's not to say I'll never go to a club again because I'd be lying.”

The star was last spotted drinking at a New Year’s Eve party in Italy, where she was photographed taking a swig from a champagne bottle. At the time, her lawyer released the following statement: "After being handed a champagne bottle while on a dance floor in Italy on New Year's Eve and drinking from it, the good news is that Lindsay stopped herself, called her sponsor, and got herself back on track. There is no magic cure here."

Tom Cruise and David Beckham are set to cement their friendship by going into business together. Word is that when Becks hangs up his boots for good, he and Tom will buy a football club, but they’re yet to decide if it will be in the UK or US.

A source told the Daily Express: “David has often spoken of his desire to concentrate on his youth soccer academies, rather than a career in management when he retires from the game. A high profile soccer venture with a Hollywood superstar would also give him back some of the credibility he surely feels he lost after fleeing prestigious Real Madrid for a megabucks deal in the US.”

Becks moved to LA Galaxy last year in a deal said to be worth $250 million over five years, but he’s been plagued by injuries and so-so form since this arrival.

Sad news this morning as Melinda Messenger has announced she has separated from her husband of 10 years. The couple have three children, Morgan, eight, Flynn, six, and Evie, four.

The former Page 3 girl married her childhood sweetheart, Wayne Roberts, in 1998. Close friends of the couple have spoken out to deny that a third party is involved in the split.

A friend told reporters: “It’s simply a case of them growing apart. They seemed to have a fairytale marriage by showbiz standards. But obviously there have been some difficulties with Melinda becoming such a big star and Wayne having to remain in the background. The split's very amicable and they want to put the needs of their children above anything else.”

It follows the recent news that another long-term showbiz couple, Kym and Jack Ryder, have separated after six years of marriage.

Congratulations to Kerry Katona and Cate Blanchett, who both gave birth over the last few days.

Kerry welcomed son Max on Friday after nearly 60 hours in labour. Max – who is named after Kerry’s manager, Max Clifford – was born five weeks premature and weighted just 5lbs 4oz. The star’s publicist released the  following statement announcing the new arrival: “It was a natural birth and mother and baby are doing well. Kerry and Mark are thrilled to bits.”

Congratulations must also go to Cate Blanchett, who gave birth to her third son, Ignatius, in Sydney last week. Cate and her playwright husband, Andrew Upton, have two other sons – six-year-old Dashiell and three-year-old Roman.

Ignatius weighed a whopping eight pounds. “All are well and very happy,” the actress said in a statement. Congratulations.

Prince William received his RAF wings from his father today as he completed 12 weeks of training with the Royal Air Force.

Prince Charles pinned the badge onto his son's suit at the ceremony at an air force base in Lincolnshire where Wills learnt to pilot helicopters and planes. Camilla Parker Bowles and Kate Middleton watched on as the prince graduated with his class.

William has followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who have both earned the ceremonial pilot wings.

Britney Spears will reunite with Justin Timberlake at a family BBQ over the summer, according to reports. Britney’s dad Jamie believes the troubled star was at her most happy (and stable) when she was dating Trousersnake between 1998 and 2002. He hopes that a renewed friendship between the pair will help Britney recover from her recent mental problems, as he fears his daughter never fully recovered from their break-up.

A family insider said: “Jamie reached out to Justin and asked if he’d be willing to come over to Britney’s house to talk to her face-to-face, and Justin said yes. Jamie’s hoping that by finally seeing him, she’ll be able to get some real closure, some resolution. He thinks that might be a huge help to her.” Hmm... wonder what JT’s girlfriend, actress Jessica Biel, thinks of all this?

This latest development in Britney’s private life comes just weeks after her father patched up his problems with K-Fed in an apparent attempt to get the divorced couple back together.

I don't know about you, but I think it's best if Britney stays single for a while, gets healthy, regains custody of her sons, and only then should she think about having a love life. What's the rush?
